Sensei Amy Giles from Progressive Kenpo Karate and Cardio Kickboxing and Miss Tracey Sims from TurnOut Movement Arts Studio have developed a new exercise program called HipKick. It is a fun and one of a kind exercise program for all levels that fuses Martial Arts and Hip Hop Dance for ages 7-12.If your child is interested in participating in this new program, sign up at the front desk!   6 week programs with a free trial!!

Youth Karate Class

ATTITUDE, DISCIPLINE AND RESPECT are the three most important components of our Junior's Program.  Our job is to help your child develop a stronger mind, body and a positive attitude through physical fitness and we take our job very seriously!  We will make sure your child gains everything he/she needs to be a champion here, in school and in life.  Such necessities include but are not limited to:

  • Respect - to build strong relationships with parents, teachers and friends.
  • Responsibility - to develop the courage and self-esteem required to stand up for what is right, even if he/she is standing alone.
  • Reaction - reassuring child safety through our unique program, always using common sense before self-defense.
  • Goal Setting - to learn how to turn dreams into reality.

If you want to learn concrete, PRACTICAL self-defense techniques that will work for you but against an opponent,  then our program is for you!  In addition to gaining integral character-building skills such as focus, discipline and respect, more importantly you will gain very real and practical advantages in the forms of self-defense, self-awareness, hand-eye  coordination, balance, strength, endurance and flexibility!   We invite you to workout with us.  Your first two classes are absolutely FREE...all you have to do now is call Amy at 726-0097 to set up your first appointment!

Cardio Kickboxing adds Punch and a whole lot of Kick to your every day aerobics class!  Not only will you burn 450+ calories in only 45 minutes but you will be sculpting your entire body through punching and kicking techniques...all of which are done to a bag!  You'll look better, feel better and sleep better!  We offer many classes throughout the week which means you should have no problem fitting this amazing workout into your weekly routine. Your first class is FREE, so don't wait another minute, call Amy at 726-0097 and set up an appointment to look and feel great!

Krav Maga 

Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces and has been taught to hundreds of law enforcement agencies and thousands of civilians in the United States. It is a simple, effective self defense system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios.  The system is based on your body's natural instincts, not on elaborate techniques. It is designed to be learned quickly and to be retained under stress.  Classes are a 45 minute TOTAL BODY WORKOUT and are informal (no belts or gis).

Pilates


Pilates

An exercise method based on the work of Joseph Pilates. Its focus is on strengthening the "powerhouse" (abs and buttocks) to execute the exercises which are designed to increase flexibility, strengthen muscles and improve posture. The method involves concentration and the coordination of breath and movement, thereby helping to balance mind and body.   Pilates classes are 45 minutes long.  *Yoga is included in your Pilates membership and is a 30 minute class. 

  Cost: Members = $15 per month  Non-members = $45 per month (12 month membership) or $55 per month (month-to-month membership)
